Summer at Longbush Cottage is when everything sings — the gladioli, lilies, and roses glow in the heat, the ornamental grasses shimmer in the breeze, and the sound of frogs and native birds fills the air by the pond. Across one hectare of garden rooms and borders, you’ll find a rich blend of design and wild beauty, framed by a backdrop of Wairarapa hills and the gentle hum of summer. Explore at your own pace or join one of our **guided tours** for a deeper look into the garden’s rhythm and design. Our trip to Longbush Cottage was really great. Luke and Ben were very helpful with the organising of the event. This is the most charming place to visit. We went to tulip festival on a foul day but it didnâ€™t deter the sheer pleasure of seeing thousands of beautiful tulips. The garden and house are enchanting. Will definitely visit again on a nice day weather wise. Thank you. We loved it

Weâ€™ve been looking forward to visiting to see how a transformation happens from a paddock to a luscious garden. We were not disappointed. Great place to visit as a day trip out of Wellington sprinkled with wine-tasting in Martinborough, shopping in Greytown and stunning mountain scenery.
